Oxford Student Text presents in Six Women Poets a selection of work by Gillian Clarke, Grace Nichols, Fleur Adcock, Carol Rumens, Selima Hill, and Liz Lochhead. Each poet has written an introduction to her selection, giving valuable insights into the background to her poems and cultural influences on her poetry. The edition contains notes to support readings of the poems and a section of critical reviews of the poets' work.
