Sinopsis

The Vicar of Wakefield, Oliver Goldsmith's only novel, was first published in 1766; it went into three editions in five months and become one of the most popular works of fiction of the eighteenth century. The story tells of the follies, misfortunes, and joys of the Primose family; at its center is that fallible paragon the Vicar.
